OXFORD - It’s that time of year again when love and footballs are in the air, and the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market will be helping you celebrate both this Saturday.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect combination of burger meats and seasonings for your Supper Bowl party or wanting to treat a loved one in your life to a luscious steak or roast, the Market’s vendors will have what you need, including seasonal veggies, mushrooms, cheeses, butter, bread, and artisan baked goods. You’ll also find a wealth of beautiful gift items to sweeten and soothe, from hand-made candles and herbal teas, to soaps and salves. Whatever you find to serve or to gift, it will be extra special for being locally grown, raised and produced.
Folk Fiddler John Potocnik and Pianist Kathy Shimberg will be performing indoors on Saturday and a warm meal will be served at the Conversation table. Shop the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday,10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park.
