S-E bowlers fall to Cooperstown
COOPERSTOWN – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves bowling team traveled to Clark’s Sports Center in a tough CSC West division matchup against Cooperstown. S-E suffered its second loss of the season to the Hawkeyes, who now have put themselves closer to winning the division. Cooperstown took the 4-1 overall victory.
S-E did take the first game by a score of 870 to 855, but lost the other two games and the overall series 2690-2536.
Nick Jenkins and Evan Chesebro both finished with a team-high 534 series. Jenkins had the team’s highest game with a 213 as Chesebro bowled a 194 to help the Timberwolves take the first game.
