OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks girls basketball team hosted Delhi on Tuesday for a MAC league matchup with the regular season winding down. Oxford dropped to Delhi 43-25.

Both teams matched evenly in the first half with Delhi holding on to a one-point 17-16 advantage. The Bulldogs came out strong in the second half, outscoring Oxford 17-5 within those eight minutes.

The Blackhawks were held to just nine points in the second half alone.

Paige Rickard led Oxford with seven points as Taegan Manwarren added six points. Abby Denz finished with five points off the bench as Olivia Oliver chipped in four points. Margaret Rovente had three points in the loss.
