Snowshoe adventure registration is open, ages 8 and up

During the snowy winter of 2023, 4-H youth enjoyed learning how to walk in snowshoes. This year, Chenango County Youth Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Exchange (CCE) 4-H have once again joined together to offer a snowshoe adventure for ages 8 and up in Chenango County. NORWICH — The Chenango County Youth Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Exchange (CCE) 4-H have joined together to offer a snowshoe adventure for youth ages 8 and up in Chenango County.


The adventure starts at 3 p.m., February 19, and will be located at Cook Park, Greene, New York.


Transportation will be provided for 4-H youth from the CCE Building at 99 North Broad Street in Norwich and will depart for Greene at 2:30 p.m. Snowshoes will also be provided or participants can bring their own. For snowshoe ride sign up, email Erica at elc97@cornell.edu.


“We always offer a snowshoe program at least once or twice per year,” said CCE Chenango County Natural Resource Educator Erica Clark.
