BG girls top Windsor

BAINBRIDGE – Coming off a win against Deposit-Hancock, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls basketball team hosted non-league opponent Windsor for their final regular season game. B-G came away with the 44-31 win.

B-G played a strong first half, outscoring the Black Knights 21-9. Windsor improved efforts in the second half but B-G paced themselves to secure the victory. B-G also went 12-for-16 at the free throw line.

Jayslin Henderson and Marissa Mayo both led the Bobcats with 12 points each. Henderson made six-of-eight free throws.

Emma Kinter went four-for-six at the free throw line and finished with eight points as Peyton Umbra added six points with two threes in the third quarter. Jalyn Winans finished with four points in the third quarter as Laila Williams added two free throws.
