Norwich boys' swim honor senior Kris Deuel vs Oneonta

NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ swim team hosted Oneonta for their final home meet of the season, where they honored their lone senior, Kris Deuel. Kris swims in the 100 breaststroke, the 200 freestyle, and the 500 freestyle.
The final score of the meet was 94-56 in favor of the YellowJackets. Norwich took the victories in both the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay.
On senior night, Kris Deuel swam in both the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke individually while helping the relay teams. He won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:15.32 with Sharon Thinagaran in second (1:32.03). Thinagaran took fourth in the 200 freestyle, achieving a new personal best time of 2:59.23.
