SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville PTO saw a big turnout once again for the third straight year of hosting the annual First Responders vs S-E staff basketball game at Kevin Vibbard Court. For the third consecutive year, the event has raised $1000 or more to go back to the PTO on their mission of giving back to the students.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for our staff, dedicated first responders, and great community to come together and embrace excellence,” S-E PTO President Toni Carpenter said. “The PTO is grateful to sponsor this event and host this event because it’s a great in between winter and spring activity that the community looks forward to.”
The S-E PTO does monthly give backs to the students, whether it’s an ice cream social, hot cocoa/cookie bar near Christmas time or even an end of the year BBQ.
