"If anybody has been to any of Vicki’s past presentations, she does a great job with a PowerPoint presentation. It has all of her information of the history she’s collected, and then she goes really into depth of her stories and adds a lot of extra detail that connects it to the places we know in Oxford," explained Oxford Memorial Library Director Gillian Mulder.

"She will be covering a few different women in her presentation from Oxford and the surrounding areas, and their participation in the war effort whether it be during wartime or peacetime. So from nurses, doctors, ambulance drivers, war workers, pilots, she said our women made Oxford proud."

The presentation is free to attend, and no pre-registration is required. Individuals are welcome to stop by and enjoy learning about local women in history while enjoying light refreshments provided by the Warn Ten-Broeck Cemetery Association.
