NORWICH – After defeating Waverly 37-35 in double overtime to start the 2025 season, the Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ flag football team is on a roll. They are 3-0, going into tonight’s matchup against Greene.

Norwich outscored both recent opponents Chenango Valley and Chenango Forks in the last two games.

Norwich defeated Chenango Valley 51-20 while picking up the 40-25 win against Forks on Wednesday.

Norwich (3-0) hosts local Chenango County opponent Greene tonight at 5:30 p.m. at NHS Stadium.
