B-G Softball falls to Delhi in the bottom of the seventh

DELHI – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team kicked off their 2025 season on the road against Delhi on Friday afternoon. With the game tied at 4, going into the bottom of the seventh, Delhi walked it off with the bases loaded and no outs off an RBI single.

Delhi took an early 4-0 lead with a four-run third inning. B-G cut the deficit to two in the top of the fourth with RBI singles by Madisyn Peck and Emma Kinter.

B-G would then tie the game at four in their final-at bats in the seventh inning, hoping the game would go into extras. Jayslin Henderson, who went three-for-four with two doubles and a single, including an RBI double in the seventh. Tori Suda also drove in a run with a single.
