Norwich softball drops to Johnson City

NORWICH – In their third straight home game, the Norwich Purple Tornado softball team hosted non-league opponent Johnson City on Friday night. Norwich fell 12-0.

The Purple Tornado offense was held to just two hits on the day from Ava Cirigliano and Kerragan Reid. Cirigliano also stole two bases while Reid stole one.

Norwich’s Bri Cirigliano got the start on the mound, going six innings, and striking out six batters in the loss.

Norwich (0-3) hosts Owego this evening at 5 p.m.
