AFTON – The Afton Crimson Knights softball team had a strong start to the 2025 season on Wednesday as they defeated Harpursville 10-1 at home.

Afton started off with a six-run first inning before adding three more in the fourth and one final run in their-final at-bats.

The Crimson Knights were led by Megan Racine, who drove in three runs on a home run over the left-field fence in the fourth inning. Alyssa Spathelf drove in two runs on two hits. Miranda Schultz also finished with two RBIs on a base hit and Emilie Hopkins drove in the final run in the sixth inning.
