Hop into spring at community Easter egg hunts

Last year, Easter egg hunters filled their bucket full of colorful eggs. This year, once again, the Easter Bunny welcomes all to hippety hop over for fun-filled egg collecting and photo opportunities on April 19, at local Easter egg hunts in Chenango County. (Photo by Kelli Miller)

CHENANGO COUNTY— The Easter Bunny welcomes all to hippety hop over for fun-filled egg collecting and photo opportunities on April 19, at local Easter egg hunts in Chenango County.


Don’t forget to bring a basket or container to the following locations.


OXFORD:

The 20th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m., at the Oxford High School Athletic Fields, located at 50 South Washington Avenue, Oxford.


Kindergarten and under will start hunting for eggs at 10 a.m. and grades one to four at 10:30 a.m. Prizes will include gift certificates to Hoppies, Joe& Vinny's and Romas.

NEW BERLIN:

The Easter Bunny is scheduled to arrive at 12:30 p.m., at Hyde Park, located on North Main Street, in the Village of New Berlin. Shortly followed by the Easter egg hunt starting at 1p.m.


There will be three age groups: three and under, four to seven, and eight and above. Chocolate treats will be available. A number of eggs will have surprise coupons inside for age-appropriate youth.

GREENE — The 54th Annual Masonic Easter Egg Hunt will start at 11 a.m., at the Greene Elementary School, located at 105 Elementary Lane, in Greene.


There will be four age groups: two and under, three to four, five to six, and seven to eight.


Sponsored by Eastern Light Masons Lodge.



COVENTR:

The Coventry Easter Egg Hunt will be from 1-4 p.m., at Coventry Town Hall, located on State Highway 235, in Greene.

There will be four age groups: three and under, four to six, seven to ten, and ages 11+ . One special egg winner from each group will win a prize basket filled with age appropriate candy and toys.
