Greene flag football debuts new turf, hosts Forks

GREENE – After weeks of anticipation, the Greene girls’ flag football team debuted its new turf field at George G. Raymond Field for its official home opener against Chenango Forks. Greene fell short 44-39 in the final seconds. Greene held a one-point lead with 39 seconds to go, 39-38 until Forks scored to take over and secured the victory.

Greene’s Audra Doll had four touchdown runs, including two 66 yard runs and a 59 yard run. She also threw a touchdown pass to Mya Leggett-Carlin. Claire Flanagan threw a pass to Doll for a 28 yard touchdown.
