Norwich tennis back on track with win over Waverly

WAVERLY – The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ tennis team traveled to Waverly on Wednesday, where they got back on track with a 6-1 win. It was Norwich’s first match since April 14. The Purple Tornado are currently 3-3 on the 2025 season.

Norwich’s top four singles players earned four points with victories. Senior Kris Deuel defeated Logan Roskow in two 6-4 sets.

Liam Hunter won 6-4 and 6-2 against Finn Williams while Joey Hunter defeated Savannah Savercool in two 6-0 sets. David Lawson earned the win over Nate Kellogg 6-3 and 6-4.
