AFTON – After earning its first win of the season at Oxford on April 14, the Greene Trojans softball team is on a three-game win streak after a 4-1 victory at Afton. This win puts Greene tied for third in the MAC with Unatego.

Ahraya Whitt led the Trojans with going four-for-four at the plate as Kenzie Button added three hits and scored two runs. Cali Knapp stacked up two hits and struck out four batters on the mound.

Afton’s Jenna Wilson struck out 11 batters in the loss.

Greene (3-2, 3-1) hosts Norwich at 5 p.m. this evening while Afton (3-3, 2-3) heads to Delhi on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
