Greene baseball falls to Deposit-Hancock

GREENE – After a busy spring break schedule, the Greene Trojans baseball team hosted the defending champions Deposit-Hancock on Monday afternoon. Greene fell 19-1.

After the Eagles scored in the top of the first, Greene got on the board and tied the game at one apiece for their only run of the contest. Lincoln Youngs drew a two-out walk and came in to score on Parker Flanagan’s RBI double. Aside from that, the Trojans were held scoreless while the Eagles piled on from there.

Greene had three hits with one from Parker Flanagan, one from Cooper Flanagan, and one from Eli Eggleston. Cooper Flanagan also stole two bases while Parker stole one. Greene also reached base four times on walks with Youngs being walked twice.
