Oxford baseball falls short to Delhi

OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks baseball team hosted Delhi on Wednesday, coming up short 4-2.

Oxford took an early 2-0 lead before the Bulldogs tied the game in the second and scored the go-ahead runs in the sixth inning.

With one out in the bottom of the first, Kyle Benjamin drew a walk before coming in to score on Landen Olinski’s triple. Brent Hamilton followed with a hard hit ball to center to drive in Olinski.
