DERUYTER – The Otselic Valley Vikings golf team hit the course for the second match of the season on Wednesday against Stockbridge Valley at Apple Creek. The Vikings earned their first win of the season with a 248-282 victory.

OV’s Payne Wood came in first overall with a 34 (-1), followed by Owen Davis with a 37 (+2), which qualifies him for sectionals.

Troy Miller shot a 52 as Landon Barber finished with a 58 and Alex Doroshenko with a 67. Ryan Bartholomew shot a 77, not included in the tallied score.
