Norwich baseball comes up short vs Johnson City

NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team hosted Johnson City on a wet Monday evening, coming up short 8-4. The Purple Tornado will face off against the Wildcats once more on Friday for senior night. Despite coming up short, Norwich came to hit with producing 12 hits vs Johnson City’s two.

Johnson City added the eight runs in the second and third innings before Norwich got on the board in the fourth. Norwich held the Wildcats from there but could not make a full comeback.

Norwich add two more runs in the fifth and one final run in the seventh.
