SIDNEY – The Afton Crimson Knights softball team traveled to Sidney on Monday afternoon to start a two-game road trip. The Crimson Knights fell 8-2 to the Sabers.

Makenna Schultz and Kathleen Charette scored both runs for Afton in the loss as Jenna Wilson struck out eight batters.

Afton (6-5) heads to Groton on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
