B-G baseball back on track with a win over Walton/Downsville

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats baseball team snapped a three-game skid with a 9-3 win over Walton/Downsville on Thursday evening. The two teams will meet again on Saturday afternoon.

After two scoreless innings, both teams got on the board in the third inning. Walton/Downsville scored one and B-G with two runs off a two-run single by Kaiden Seymour.

B-G added on with a four-run fourth inning with the bases loaded and one out. Brayden Swartwout singled to right to drive in a run as Connor Davy doubled to drive in two. Kaiden Seymour lined out but a run scored on an error.

After a scoreless inning, the Bobcats extended its lead by adding three more runs to the mix. Timmy Kinter had an RBI double as an Error drove in two runs.
