OTEGO – The Unadilla Valley/GMU Storm softball team traveled to take on the Unatego Spartans on Monday afternoon, falling 10-3.

The Storm scored their three runs in the top of the seventh inning to avoid the shutout. Shyla Roberts walked with one out and moved to second on Natalie Crandall’s infield single. Roberts and Crandall advanced a base after a sacrifice ground out by Olivia Watson. Roberts and Crandall both scored on a wild pitch. Kenzie Knuth, who drew a two-out walk, stole second, advanced to third and came in to score before the final out.

Crandall led the Storm with two hits while Watson had one in the loss.
