AFTON – The Afton Crimson Knights softball team hosted Delhi for a MAC consolation game. Afton fought from behind with a nine-run sixth inning to defeat the Bulldogs 22-13. The Crimson Knights had an early lead and played a tight defense, which included a sliding catch by McKenna Ross.

Delhi did come back and take the lead halfway through the game, but Afton’s nine-run sixth sealed the deal.

Kathleen Charette, Makenna Schultz, Megan Racine, Alyssa Spathelf, and Jenna Wilson had multiple RBIs. Makenna Schultz went 4-for-5 with a double as Megan Racine went 5-for-6 with three doubles and six RBIs.
