DEPOSIT – After defeating B-G in the MAC semifinals, the Greene Trojans softball team traveled to Deposit to take on the Deposit-Hancock Eagles in a rematch from the 2023 MAC title game. Dominating the MAC this year, Deposit-Hancock defeated the Trojans 15-0 to win the 2025 MAC Championship, securing yet another league title. The Deposit-Hancock baseball team also won the MAC Championship against Unatego/Franklin to conclude a perfect regular season and playoffs run.

The Deposit-Hancock softball team got on the board early with an 11-run first and only added on, even when Greene held them in the second and fourth innings. The Trojans defense came up with two double plays as Abby Yahner caught a line drive at first base, then quickly stepped on the bag to double up the runner who had left the base. Alexis Cloyd tagged a runner attempting to advance to second and made a throw to first to turn two in the fourth inning.
