Richfield Springs Chamber releases 2025 summer concert schedule

RICHFIELD SPRINGS - The Richfield Springs Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2025 Summer Concerts in Spring Park, continuing a local tradition of free public music performances in the village park.

Concerts will be held every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning the last week of June and running through the end of August. Performances will take place rain or shine in the Historic Bandstand or the covered pavilion in Spring Park, located on Main Street (U.S. Route 20) in the Village of Richfield Springs. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets.

The Chamber emphasized the park’s role in the village’s musical history, noting that Spring Park hosted frequent performances in the late 1800s and early 1900s when the area’s hotels, sulfur springs and bathhouses were in their prime.

The full 2025 concert schedule is as follows:

• June 25: Glimmerglass Festival Young Artists, presenting a season preview along with Broadway selections and fun music.

• July 2: Fritz Polka Band, featured a mix of polka and country.

• July 9: Helen’s Dixielanders, offering a variety of music from polka, show tunes and opera to Dixieland.

• July 16: Dirt Road Express, showcasing classics, country, and hits from the 1950s and 60s.

• July 23: Cooperstown Community Band, presenting a toe-tapping variety.

• July 30: The Nelson Brothers, featuring classic country.

• August 6: Justine Smithson, performing a variety of music from adult contemporary to country.

• August 13: Double Chase – Matt & Thelma, performing a mix of old, new and classic songs.

• August 20: New Horizons Barbershop Chorus & Individual Quartets, singing a cappella in the barbershop style.

• August 27: Seth Owen Becker, offering a blend of familiar and original Americana, folk and acoustic music.

The Chamber partners with the Village of Richfield Springs, the Otsego County Community Events Program, and the Community Foundation of South Central New York to bring these performances to the community.
