Section IV Track and Field State Qualifiers come to a close with solid performances

ENDICOTT – The second and final day of the Section IV track and field state qualifiers were held on Thursday at Union-Endicott High School. Great job to all our local athletes throughout the 2025 season and best of luck to the seniors. Good luck to those advancing on to the state meet.

Girls’ Track:

UV’s Addison Marinelli, Madison Dix, Molly Gorrell, and Natalya Schrag took third in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 10:20.85, behind Corning and Vestal. B-G’s Lalaenia Baldwin, Maddie Ingham, Jalyn Winans, and Laila Williams finished eighth with a time of 10:47.59 with Norwich’s Annie Boland, Kyra Brunick-Davis, Mckenzie Hagenbuch, and Natalie Phillips in ninth (10:55.85).

B-G’s Baldwin, Ingham, Keelan Ammon, and Madisyn Larsen finished 11th of 15 teams in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:22.57. Ammon finished seventh in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.42. Edmeston/Morris’ Madison Moore came in fourth place in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:08.98.

Unadilla Valley’s Gracie Gorrell finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.62.
