SIDNEY – The New York State Police will be hosting a car seat check on Wednesday, June 11 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event will be held at SP Sidney which is located at 823 NY-7, Unadilla, NY 13849.  

Lots of people will be traveling the roadways during the summer, car seats significantly reduce the risk of injury or death in crashes.

NYSP car seat technicians will check if the seat is installed properly or if there are any recalls with the current seat you have.   If possible, bring the child that will be sitting in the seat to make sure they are in the correct seat for their age, weight and height.
