UV’s Shelby Rose and Jacob Prentice wrap up high school bowling careers at U.S. Nationals

INDIANA – The 2025 U.S. High School Bowling National tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana concluded on Monday, June 9, which featured Unadilla Valley seniors Shelby Rose and Jacob Prentice. Both seniors qualified for the tournament after making it to states with Prentice being a boys’ state champion and raised money to fund the trip.

Rose and Prentice both bowled on Sunday and advanced to the next round on Monday. Rose, who qualified through the first cut, where she sat in 38th place out of 237 female bowlers, finished 34th overall and missed the second cut by four pins. Prentice, who was 59th out of 378 bowlers after the first cut, finished 77th and had missed the second cut by 25 pins.
