NORWICH – The Norwich City School District celebrated its 13th annual baseball buddies event held at the Norwich Little League Field on Tuesday, June 10. Originally founded in 2011 by Norwich 2013 alum Danny Carson, the event has grown into a beloved community tradition that celebrates inclusion and the love of baseball. Baseball Buddies promotes the joy of the sport for individuals of all abilities.

The event is made possible through the ongoing efforts of Jen Parker, an Occupational Therapist at Gibson Primary School, in collaboration with the Special Education Department, school administration, and the Carson family, who work together year-round to keep the tradition alive.
