NORWICH — On Flag Day, June 14, and President Trumps birthday, a 'No Kings' protest against the Trump administration rang out nationwide and in East and West Park in Norwich, hosted by Chenango Change Indivisible.

At 12 p.m., more than 100 protestors converged on the parks, picking up pre-made signs, then lined both sides of Broad Street.

They cheered, chanted, and yelled to passerby, waving their signs “No Faux, King Way”, “86-47”, “Due process for ALL”, “STOP TRUMP”, “No King”, and more.

A few protestors fist pumped at the cars passing by and repeatedly shouted out, 'No King, No King.”

Some passengers leaned out of their car windows, giving thumbs up in response, supporting the protestors.

One protester said they were there to use their American right to protest with free speech and to support their desire for a new president.

Chenango Change Indivisible Administrator and City Council Member Ward 2 Fred Gee, a democrat , said he found the protest to be very exciting as all different people came out to express their concerns.
