NORWICH – The Norwich Post 189 Legion ball team hosted Hillcrest on Saturday afternoon, falling 26-1.

Norwich scored its lone run in the bottom of the first after loading the bases with an error, single, and a walk. Jackson Sastri drove in a run on a sacrifice fly to center field.

Kolbey Redenback and Braden Reid had the only two hits in the game for Norwich as Zac Turner drew two walks.

Collin Reid started on the mound, going two innings, allowing 10 runs (two earned) on six hits, four walks, and struck out one batter. Kolbey Redenback worked two tough innings before being replaced by Braden Reid in the fifth.

Norwich (0-3) hosts Endicott Post 82 this evening on the turf field at 6 p.m.
