OTSELIC VALLEY — The Otselic Valley Fishing & Heritage Association will present a free concert featuring renowned guitarist Loren Barrigar and his son LJ. The event will be held Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cincinnatus Area Heritage Society’s Heritage Hall, 2781 State Route 26.

This program features nationally acclaimed guitarist Loren Barrigar, who began playing guitar at the age of four. At six, he performed the Chet Atkins hit “Yackety Axe” before thousands of country music fans at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He later studied with Jimmy Atkins, Chet Atkins’ brother, which launched a touring career with his family band from Nashville to Las Vegas. Now based in Central New York, Barrigar continues to be in high demand as a studio musician and regional performer.
