UV PONY falls to Oneonta

ONEONTA – The Unadilla Valley Storm PONY league team took the field against Oneonta for the third time this summer, where they fell 15-5. UV went 1-3 in the series.

Oneonta took an early 4-0 lead as UV answered back with a run in the top of the second on an error.

The Jr. Outlaws extended its lead with four additional runs in the third. UV continued to stay up with Oneonta, despite being behind by a big margin.

UV scored three runs to cut Oneonta’s lead in half (8-4) as Cash Osborne reached base on an error to lead off the top of the fourth. Reed Osborne walked with one out before Oneonta made a pitching change. Johnny Favinger grounded out to bring home a run as Reed Osborne advanced to third and scored on a wild pitch during Kasen Cox’s at-bat.
