NORWICH – The 17th annual Bubba Bowl Memorial Fund Golf Tournament was held at the Canasawacta Country Club on Sunday, July 13. It was in honor of Owen Banks, who passed away unexpectedly in 2008, months following his first birthday. Avid golfers, family, and football fans came together to support a meaningful cause.

The tournament featured two former New York Giants Football Players, Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw, which teams got to play with on the course and others met them at the dinner and auction following the tournament. There were eight golf teams and 65 dinner guests.

The Banks family would like to thank both Nicks and Bradshaw, along with the Canasawacta Country Club, “who helped us pull off an amazing day”.
