OXFORD - 6 On The Square will continue its series of free summer concerts at Lafayette Park in Oxford with Americana/bluegrass band Simmerin' Stew at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20.
The Binghamton-based act will share their eclectic fusion of bluegrass, folk, jazz and American roots music. Their latest album, "Salt the Earth," explores the complexities of love, happiness, deceit and murder as well as the existential struggles of the human condition.
The afternoon will begin with a tribute remembering community member Bob "Doc" O'Keefe.
Bring your own chair or blanket. In case of inclement weather, the concert will move inside 6OTS and live-streamed (check facebook.com/6OnTheSquare for login information).
