NORWICH - The third annual Chenango County PrideFest will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.

The Chenango County PrideFest is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in the area, and aims to "celebrate diversity, promote acceptance, and support the LGBTQ+ community in a rural setting."

"We’re definitely family friendly. We want to put the word out that everybody is welcome; You don’t have to be LGBTQ. We love to see and have allies too. It's really just a fun day of just fun activities," said Chenango County Pride Alliance Founder and Executive Director Roland Shea.
