OXFORD - 6 On The Square will host its final free summer concert at Lafayette Park in Oxford with Celtic band Hair of the Dog at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27.
The upstate N.Y. act has released 10 albums and performed around the Northeast and Ireland. Founder Rick Bedrosian (guitar and vocals) has performed with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marshall Crenshaw, Gene Clark of The Byrds, John Stewart of The Kingston Trio and Garth Hudson (The Band). Bedrosian is also a music producer, award-winning filmmaker, international tour guide and photographer. The lineup also includes fiddler Larry Packer, a former lead guitarist for Sha Na Na and member of the New York State Blues Hall of Fame.
Bring your own chair or blanket. In case of inclement weather, the concert will move inside 6OTS and livestreamed (check facebook.com/6OnTheSquare for login information).
