New York State Law requires that all children must be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system while riding in a motor vehicle until they reach their 8th birthday.
All children under the age of 2 must ride in a rear-facing car seat. If the child has outgrown an infant seat, it is recommended that a larger, rear facing convertible or all-in-one car seat with higher rear-facing height and weigh limits be used.
An appropriate child restraint system is one that meets your child’s size and weight recommended by the manufacturer.
Any questions, please contact Troop C at (607) 561-7400 and ask for Traffic.
