GREENE – The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team faced Chenango Forks on Tuesday at Greene’s Genegantslet course. Norwich earned their third straight victory by a score of 192-224.

It has been a battle at the top medalist spot for Norwich with Matthew Brunick and Brevin Bennett starting out strong this season. Brunick shot an all-around best of a 35 while Bennett followed with a 36.

Charlie Smith had a great outing with a 39 as Gavin Burrell shot a 40. Michael Brunick finished with a 42 and Jacob Lobdell was the sixth man (44*).

Chenango Forks’ scores ranged from a low 42 to a high 49.

Norwich (3-0) hosts Oneonta at the Canasawacta Country Club on Wednesday, September 10 at 4 p.m.
