WATERVILLE – The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team kicked off its 2025 season on a high note as they shutout Madison 3-0 in the first round of Waterville’s Brothertown Optimist Tournament.

Greene’s Kenny Baucas, Seth Symons, and Judd Dutcher scored their first goals of the season with one assist by Jack Rice. Greene had 11 shots on goal and Jackson Roth made all three saves in the shots he faced in goal. Greene (1-0) returns to Waterville for the second round of the tournament on Saturday.
