SNB Horseshoe Club: Kelly’s Flowers comes out on top in final week

SO. NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club held its final week of the season on August 27,where Lee Coon and Jess Sherwood came out on top of the standings. Kelly’s Flowers earned the victory with a final record of 42-22.

Potter’s Tire (Billy Schermerhorn/John Edwards) finished in a close second with a record of 41-23 as Ryno Graphics (Ryan Lund and Bill Wetherbee) took third with a record of 38.5-25.5.

Aptitude Design Co. ’s Tresta Raymond and Kate Lloyd came in fourth place with a final record of 38-26 while the Stadium’s Al Bush and Al Patten finished fifth at 37-27.

Lee Coon and Ron Anderson tied for the men’s highest singles on the week with a 62 as Al Patten had a 61.

Coon also had the highest series for the men with a 177 over Anderson’s 168 and Patten’s 162.

Kate Lloyd and Jess Sherwood both had the highest game of a 56 for the women with Tresta Raymond finishing with a 39. Lloyd had the highest series with a 159 over Sherwood’s 118 and Raymond’s 98.

Kelly’s Flowers swept the team leaderboards as Williams Tire took both the high singles handicap game and series.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club will be celebrating their season banquet on September 28.
