NORWICH — The Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich, will be hosting a Make Your Own Witch workshop, where instructor Linda Kays-Biviano will teach participants how to make their own witch doll.

In the past, Kays-Biviano has held workshops teaching participants how to make leprechauns, house fairies, and Christmas elves. The classes have all been extremely popular, sparking the Arts Council to offer two sessions for the witch craft.

The workshop lasts four weeks, and sessions will include Tuesdays from September 23 to October 14, or Wednesdays from September 24 to October 15. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chenango Arts Council.

"[Linda Kays-Biviano is] going to talk you through sculpting the face, making the clothes, all of it. Making her hair," said Chenango Arts Council Administrative Assistant. "It’ll be a fun class just in time for Halloween."

The workshop is $80 for Arts Council members and $85 for non-members. To register, visit ChenangoArts.org.

All supplies will be included, however Miller said participants will have to bring their own scissors. Fabric scissors are recommended, but household scissors will also work.
