NEW BERLIN – On Tuesday, the UV/GMU cross country program hosted a local invitational at the 2.6 mile course at the Unadilla Valley Central School District, which Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville and Norwich also attended.

Boys:

The BGAH boys’ team took second at the meet with 59 points, behind leading Delhi/South Kortright with 50 points.

Norwich’s Nic Sutton came in third to lead the local boys with a time of 15:09. UV/GMU’s Jake Favinger took fifth with a time of 15:34. BGAH’s Owen Degan finished seventh (16:06) as teammate Sean Fowler followed in eighth (16:06).

BGAH’s Aiden Quick ran a time of 17:02 to finish in 13th place with Rowan Beasinger behind him in 14th (17:29). Ethan Beardslee (18:49), Evan Chapman (18:50), and Jackari Garipoli (19:12) all followed one another in 17th, 18th, and 19th place. My’Kel George (19:14), Mason Lans (19:32), and Christian Campbell also ran for BGAH.

Dominic Berthel ran to a 24th place finish with a time of 20:35 for UV/GMU as Norwich’s Connor Marshall finished 32nd out of 33 male runners with a time of 24:23.
