Norwich boys’ soccer rebounds with close victory vs Owego

OWEGO – The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ soccer team traveled to Owego on Thursday night. The start of the game was delayed due to the Owego girls still going on with senior night. Norwich snapped a long skid with a 3-2 win over Owego Apalachin. Liam Ballin led the way with 2 goals, with the game-winner in the second half with 15 minutes to go in the game. James Sprague also scored, on a direct kick from 25 yards out, in the first half.

The Norwich boys look to keep the momentum going as they travel to Coach Oberg's Alma mater Downsville/Walton on Monday, Sept. 22 at 4:30 p.m.
