S-E football shows military appreciation and homecoming against Jamesville-Dewitt
SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves football team hosted Jamesville-Dewitt on a busy weekend for the community with it being Military Appreciation night as well as Homecoming week. S-E was also happy to have its starting Quarterback, Hadden Price, and running back, Justin Race back in the lineup.
However, the home team fell 43-23 amongst a big night.
S-E trailed by 30 points midway through the third quarter, which sent Price into record-setting mode. He completed a school-record of 17 passes on the night, surpassing Darren Miles’ 15 in a game, and threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, while running for another score. Price’s 268 passing yards on the night also sits second to alum Darren Miles’ 270 in 2023.
