Special events at the Sidney Memorial Public Library in October

SIDNEY — The kids are back in school and the Sidney library is once again open on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.


We have some great programs lined up for October in addition to all our regular programs.


Monday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Sidney library is hosting a Youth & Mental Health Training. There will be two hours of course work that needs to be done prior to class. The class is free but registration is required by September 19. Please e-mail si.cassandra@4cls.org. We need to have a minimum of 10 participants.

Pumpkin Craft: Saturday, October 11 at 1 p.m. we will be doing a special craft project creating a pumpkin on canvas board using jigsaw puzzle pieces.


Fire trucks, oh my! October is Fire Safety Month and the library will be hosting a Fire Truck visit with the Sidney Fire Department on Thursday, October 16 at 5:30 p.m. This will be a fun event for the whole family.
