GREENE – The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team came into the matchup against Edmeston with an undefeated 7-0 record, including two league wins. Edmeston tested Greene with a slight size advantage in the non-league contest, handing the Trojans their first loss of the season 3-1.

The Panthers went on the board first with a goal that went in after a deflection that took Greene’s Jackson Roth out of the box, unable to defend the net.

10 minutes later, Greene had good possession, which set up a nice goal by Grant Leonard to tie it up at 1.

The score was 1-1 at halftime, indicating it was anyone’s game in the second half.
