Oxford boys’ soccer shuts out Brookfield at home

OXFORD — The Oxford Blackhawks boys’ soccer team hosted Section III, Class D’s Brookfield on Monday for their last home game of the regular season. Oxford came away with a big 7-0 shutout victory.

Joey Locke led the Blackhawks with two goals as Paxton LaMonica, Gordon Smith, Eddie Golden, Dawson Viele, and Liam Philippone (first varsity goal) each scored goals. LaMonica, Smith, Golden, Viele, and Calvin Moore provided assists.

Oxford’s Kayden Renfrow made six saves in net, including a big save on a penalty kick.

Oxford heads to Greene this evening at 6 p.m.
