GREENE - On Wednesday. October 8, at approximately 9:07 p.m., New York State Police at Norwich responded to a three vehicle crash on State Route 12 in the town of Greene.  

An investigation at the scene revealed that a 2021 Mazda CX5 was traveling south on State Route 12 when the vehicle traveled out of its lane into the northbound lane, striking a 2010 Ford Focus head-on.   The Mazda CX5 then continued off the roadway and struck a 2017 Honda Civic that was parked in front of 872 State Route 12.   The Mazda CX5 then struck the exterior of the residence.  

The operator and only occupant of the Mazda CX5,  Makayla A. Cummings, age 22 of Utica, NY was transported to Wilson Hospital for a complaint of back pain and what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.   She was also ticketed.  

The operator and only occupant of the Ford Focus,  Angel Minnie Kiekel, age 44 of Nineveh, NY was transported to Wilson Hospital for a complaint of chest pain and what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
